3 Ways to Whiten Teeth Naturally + How to Heal the Oral Microbiome

COCONUT OIL PULLING + TONGUE SCRAPING

How to Oil Pull With Coconut Oil:

On an empty stomach (I like to do it right when I wake up), take a spoonful of coconut oil and put it in your mouth until it melts. Once melted, start swishing it through your teeth and around your mouth. Swish for 5-10 minutes and spit the oil out in the trash can. That used coconut oil will be some NASTAY stuff. Mouth bacteria is no joke.

Now, you might think, how the heck is using the blackest substance to ever exist on the planet earth going to whiten my teeth? Trust me.

Dip your toothbrush in some activated charcoal powder and brush teeth for about a minute. The abrasiveness of the charcoal removes stains and brightens enamel.


That’s it! My tooth-whitening secrets are out. Oil pulling with coconut oil and tongue scraping keeps my teeth bright and white, while hydrogen peroxide and activated charcoal are there to pick up the slack when I need a little whitening boost.
